I remember Japanese wrestling before AEW came around . It was unique , it was special and it was a treat . Now with AEW around it doesn’t feel like that all. Even other promotions don’t feel special to watch like DDT/NOAH. Tony finds a way to show these people on a fairly regular basis .
He also raided New Japan by giving the good talent inflated contracts . New Japan can’t compete so they kneeled. Maybe it’s just me but most of the Japanese talent feel dead and tired. The new guys just don’t hit. Title matches happen so often everywhere nothing feels special.
I see strong style wrestling so often now it just doesn’t hit the same . Everything feels exposed now .
