>>15352278I feel ya, bro. At the start, AEW was genuinely fresh and exciting, but by slow degrees, it's stopped being the company I loved and became WWE-lite. The two major turning points were when Phil came in (along with a flood of NXTjects) and TK taking over all the booking. That one-two punch, plus the leaving of one of the company's founders, fucked AEW so hard. What makes matters worse is that TK keeps thinking there is a magical signing that this will fix everything - it won't - you need to build talent and give people a reason to give a shit, like they did at the start. People liked the OGs; they grew attached to the original talent, and then TK spent over a year burying them and sending the message - you don't matter unless you were WWE. All my favourites have been cast aside, and I'm left with is WWE/NXT/and some bits and pieces of OG AEW and NJPW bits and pieces. It sucks. Fuck TK. I'll never understand how every fucking promoter falls into the same trap of taking WWE's dregs and presenting them like they are the biggest fucking deal.
