That guy doesn't seem to want to answer, so I'll just explain. Harold Meij wasn't let go because he got butthurt about Chono and took him off commentary. He wasn't let go because he refused to work with AEW. Harold Meij was let go for a very simple reason, he promised to raise a certain amount of revenue, and then he didn't do it because his business decisions made that amount of revenue impossible to obtain. He promised 100 million dollars in revenue, a number that is completely impossible with NJPW's current revenue streams and only would've been possible with a major American television rights deal. He didn't get that deal because he let all of their biggest western draws walk and AEW got the deal instead.
Ohbari has been working with everybody because he wants that deal. He wants a part of that major American television money. To him, this is not about splitting the gate of one PPV or putting AEW Dynamite on New Japan World. He is trying to get NJPW a piece of that next 9-figure deal that AEW is heading for.
And guess what?
He's probably gonna succeed.
