Despite some hefty distractions on the part of Mare Equine, she and Karna of Warhorse have vowed to not stop in their quest for tag team gold. A recent victory over Bubblegum Crisis has put the duo of the Stallion and the Saiyan in strong standing for a future tag title championship match, though Karna fell to Kelly Omega in singles competition, and Mare has been side tracked by thoughts of Hailey Britannia. Tonight, the blinders are on and these two will be laser focussed on the match in front of them, against a team who Karna in particular knows very well.
Onigiri and Shogun Aina’s run in the tag division has been thus far without victory. A loss to the aforementioned Bubblegum Crisis kicked things off on the wrong foot, but each found great success as part of the winning team in the Forbidden Allure main event. Both Shogun and Onigiri have felt the pain of defeat to Karna in singles competition, so this really is a must win situation for the Stellar Stars duo. With Mare’s eyes on a different set of prizes, and Karna’s recent singles defeat, there may be no better time than right now to begin gaining momentum toward bringing a second set of gold into the Stars’ locker room.
