I have explained this in previous threads. Think of it like oceanic divisions. The lower you go into the ocean, the darker and more eerie it becomes, right? It is similar with Japanese pro-wrestling fandom in the west; the smaller the group, the darker and more eerie the habitat and its inhabitants will be. Most of the English Ice Ribbon enthusiasts on Twitter are weirdos and troons to begin with; now consider the radical mutation of that already thinly narrow subset of freaks that would post in a place like /pw/. Just imagine what these trench-dwelling creatures physically resemble, the lives they lead. It is difficult to envision them as embodiments of decency, desu ne? Thusly, we can begin understanding their nature. I'm not sure if these people are even fans of Ice Ribbon. They may just be people who have to argue because they are bored. In my day, pro-wrestling fans were fierce, hot-blooded men! Our admiration for the wrestlers was expressed through support and appreciation for their craft. But now, it's as if we must traverse through a perilous PvE video game world. Oh, how the times have changed!

Isn't Ice Ribbon, which has many developing young wrestlers, more exciting than watching the same old mid-career freelancers wrestle over and over again?
