>[STARDOM] Maika & HANAKO hold a rally to win the tag league, nominating the Goddess champions for the championship match
>Maika and Hanako (24), who will team up for the first time in the women's professional wrestling "Stardom" tag league "Goddess of Stardom" (opening in Shinjuku on the 26th), held a rally. Maika, who won the tag league for the first time last year with Megan Behn, seems to have set her sights on becoming the first in history to win the league twice in a row, and set up a drinking party with her juniors. After drinking heavily and getting drunk, she called a reporter to an izakaya and spoke enthusiastically about her thoughts on winning the tag league.
>Maika, who toasted with HANAKO with her fifth beer, spoke passionately, saying, "I want to achieve with HANAKO what I wasn't able to accomplish with Himeka and Megan. That's why I want to win the tag league with a perfect record and wear the Goddess belt with HANAKO. That's all I'm thinking about."
>Although they won the tag league last year, they lost in the match to decide the vacant Goddess Championship, failing to take the tag title. This summer, Maika became the first wrestler to win all matches in the single league tournament "5STAR GP," and is aiming for the feat of winning the summer and fall league tournaments in a row.
>Hanako gained experience in student wrestling, and made a name for himself with his fighting style that made the most of his 181cm height. In his debut match in March of last year, he faced Maika and Himeka. He inherited the JP Coaster, a special move, from Himeka, who retired in May of the same year. In August of this year, he undertook a one-month training program in the United States, where he was taught the Shirasagi (standing triangle choke) by Shinsuke Nakamura, an American WWE superstar who is also from Kyoto.
