Toni Storm was like "I'll make up a fun character" while dimeless shitters a la Kenny Omega are like "I have no personality or character I just do ballet moves to get Meltzer stars". Roderick Strong is another guy who got a clue, all he did was put on a neck brace and pretend to be injured while yelling ADAAAAAAAAM but that's all it takes to be entertaining and memorable. Meanwhile, I can't remember a single fucking match from this week's Dynamite aside from Toni's match and that's specifically because she's an amusing character who acts in an amusing way when she wrestles. It's almost like pro wrestling has always been a character-driven medium and all the low IQ smarks who think it's about the actual wrestling are missing the forest for the trees.
