>Preston Vance
One of the worst examples of bad/lazy storytelling in the undercard is when Preston Vance turned on the Dark Order, kicked their asses and threw his mask on the ground in front of an upset negative-one. If this was any other promotion, Preston would have come to the ring with a live mic the next week and explained his actions. Instead, we had to wait THREE WEEKS for Preston to get a sixty second interview with Jim Ross. On top of that, outside of a brief fight in a Battle Royal, Preston and the Dark Order haven't interacted since. No follow-up match or promo. Nothing. Negative-One has disappeared, the Dark Order have moved on and Vance is collecting masks on Dark. Huh?
>Willow Nightingale
At the start of the year Willow Nightingale got the biggest win of her career with Ruby Soho in the Rampage Street Fight. The next week she lost to Toni Storm. That was the last time we've seen her on TV. No backstage promos or interviews, no video packages, nothing. Her tag team with Ruby has seemingly disbanded because if not, why the fuck is she not coming to the ring with Ruby in a story where everyone else (Britt/Jamie, Storm/Saraya) has a partner of their own. How can anyone expect to get invested in these characters when they disappear without a trace for weeks if not months at a time? All her momentum is now gone.
>Hikaru Shida
Shida cost Saraya and Toni Storm a big tag match against Britt & Hayter. There has been precisely zero follow up to this. Shida hasn't been seen in over a month, not even on Dark. Apparently she has an injured finger, but that can't be the reason she's not on TV because - 1) she wrestled on the Jericho cruise last week and 2) How does a broken finger prevent you from even appearing on a show? Another person forgotten, yet when she pops up on TV again we're going to be expected to care.
