There's no cohesion that's so attractive for this tournament.
I'm glad they're trying to switch it up instead of resting on their laurels, but this wasn't it. I won't really hold it against NJPW unless the format returns identically next year.
Even better would be 6 guys per block- A&B on one night, C&D on the other - to get superstacked cards, but NJPW is moving further away from good individual cards for the purpose of ticket sales, so that isn't happening.
