>>10246347>I assume King of Colosseum sucks dick, tooNope, it's actually the polar opposite of Fire Pro in that it's designed to actually be played. It's a lot of fun, single player or multiplayer.
I completely agree that the Fire Pro series has always had terrible fucking gameplay and is entirely meant to be used for simming.
King of Colosseum has something like 42 selectable separate grappling moves for each wrestler and it's all mapped out by the type of hold -- moves that start with a suplex, or a body slam position, or a fireman's carry, exploder, northern lights, etc. You can select 6 styles of grappling and select up to 7 individual moves for each style, like 7 types of suplex moves.
It's sick, the depth is incredible and also the presentation. If you're into the Showa Era of Japanese wrestling, Muto and the boys, Misawa, etc, it has it all -- basically every big venue, it has licensed theme music with crowd chants, it has entrances, selectable referees, ring announcers, color commentators.
And again, the personality of each animation -- like these Vader strikes? In KoC2 of course. It's little things like that that matter to me.
