Nikki enters an elevator, and as it begins its ascent, she pulls out her phone, checking the latest WWA results. Immaculate Connection had a match... and so did that loser Nika. Nikki giggles in anticipation of the result. Just how quickly did Lilith defeat her? In five minutes? Four?
She pulls up the result screen. Amy and Colby won, as expected. They're such a good team.
But, what's this? Nika defeated Lilith? No, that can't be right. It must be a mistake. Or some intern's idea of a joke.
Nikki closes the tab and checks the results on another website. And they're exactly the same.
"WHAT THE FUCK!! WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK!!" Nikki screams, just as her elevator stops and the doors slide open.
A few office workers stare in shock at the sight of one of their employer's wrestlers having a meltdown right in front of them. Nikki doesn't care. Nika won? How could this have happened? Did that training actually work? If Madame Divine favours Lucy who does so little, just how much would she favour Lightning Nika if she actually became useful? After all, unlike Nikki she was one of the founding members of the Divine Angels just like Lucy.
As she approaches the Talent Relations office she tries to pull herself together. A 1-10 record isn't much better than 0-10. Nika is still a loser. Right? Still not a threat to her position as Madame Divine's right hand. But it's more imperative than ever now that Sola Fire wins her inevitable showdown with Nika. If their upcoming rendezvous in the park goes well, maybe she could contribute to that happening.
