CM Punk. He was a huge prick to me when I met him at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. This was in July so only months after his walkout from WWE but only a few months away from his now infamous podcast with Colt Cabana. He was just strolling around the Gaslamp Quarter outside the convention center, taking pictures with random people. I waited until he was done taking pictures and finished so I can approach him. I was also wearing my CM Punk hat and CM Punk shirt just because I had a feeling he would be there based on his past history with the convention. I approached him, introduced myself, told him I was a huge fan, and asked if I can please get a picture with him. Now where I messed up on was (respectfully) addressing him as Mr. Brooks. But my rationale was that he had been appearing on TV and other media appearances such as Talking Dead as Phil Brooks, so I figured he was done with WWE and was going by his real name now. The way he switched on that fast was jarring. "You don't know me, bro! You can't call me that!" as he started walking away. I apologized for that and asked again if it's okay I can get a picture with him and he eventually allowed me to. In hindsight and after certain events and incidents the last couple years; I should have just let it go or told him to go fuck himself. But, man, as a hardcore CM Punk fan (at the time) it was very jarring seeing how little it takes to set him off.
