It should have meant something because Tony never appeared on screen in a way that related to a storyline. But in reality the only thing that actually happened was Tony taking a three week vacation from running shows backstage.
Funny thing is that I thought the new Elite had potential. I cared more about the Bucks because they actually had a gimmick that they could work with. Jack Perry has looked better as the Scapegoat than he has so far in his career. And Okada's natural charisma is apparentt every time he's on screen. But they didn't have a good story to invest in. Mox's group is having the same problem. I love the fact that they are beating the piss out of shitters every week but there's no explanation or motive to what they're doing.
