I'm also 100% sure it was worse on other anime forums 10+ years ago with that manipulation because on 4chan people would either ironically post it and some people took it seriously or some would get called out for spamming this shit. On certain 4chan boards now the "hey I'll spam a dude with tits naked everywhere to make people question their sexuality" got moved onto BBC/racemixing threads, so I'm pretty sure it's the same people behind it.
