>Press Conference - Princess of Princess Championship
>Part 1/2
At a press conference held at Abema Towers in Shibuya, Tokyo on July 22, Rika Tatsumi, who will challenge Shoko Nakajima for the Princess of Princess title at the Ota-ku Sogo Gymnasium on July 9, declared her determination to regain the title and "go crazy" with it.
Rika said, "I was so happy when Shoko became the champion at Ryogoku Kokugikan. I wondered what kind of road she would take as champion, and I wanted to watch her all the way. But I also want the belt. I will not change my declaration that I will be the champion again, or even that I will grow more of a madwoman. Since I get to fight on the stage of my dreams, I want to see a side of Shoko Nakajima that I have never seen before, and I want to make her feel the same way. I also want to have a match where I can see myself as I have never seen myself before.
Nakajima said, "Title matches at Ryogoku Kokugikan and Saitama Super Arena. I also had a title match at Korakuen, but I experienced a title match at a big venue. I feel that Tokyo Girl's is gaining momentum, as am I. The frequency of overseas challengers is also increasing. The number of fighters challenging overseas has increased, and I really want to be at the forefront of that momentum. One of my goals was to defend the belt from Yuka Sakazaki at the Cyber Fight Fest. I was more interested in getting stronger than achieving that goal. I want to be an ever-evolving champion and accumulate strength, so I would like people to see me always new, always improving. I want the fighters to always be fighting against a new me. I believe that Rika is the same in that she wants to be at the forefront of this momentum. I believe that she will fight with the same desire to make Tokyo Joshi bigger, so I am very much looking forward to it," she said, revealing her thoughts as a champion.
