I'm sorry facts hurt your feelings but it's true that AEW's ratings are in the toilet and they're losing to everything from Paw Patrol, to little league games, to Braun Strowman eating hamburgers. "The feeling" was more than that. The debuts were a big part of it but there was also so much excitement and optimism for AEW's future. The good will surrounding the tranny rodeo was overwhelming and people let mistakes slide because they just assumed Tony would work out the kinks. It seemed like AEW was on top of the fucking world and it was only a matter of time before they overtook WWE as senile Vince ran it into the ground. That's the feeling AEWtists want to return to. But they can never go back to those halcyon days because unfortunately it turns out Tony is a retarded failson and over the course of 6 years he ruined his own company beyond any hope of repair.

It probably will. It's fun to shitpost about Netflix cancelling AEW but it's more likely that WBD cancels it before the sale even happens. It can't survive with ratings like this for much longer.

OUCH. Setting aside the backhanded compliment, PPV buyrates have plummeted alongside ratings and attendance because that's how reality works. Dave can pretend the buyrates magically haven't been declining but that's blatantly absurd. He's just glazing the PPVs because he personally enjoys them.
