Does anyone else really miss backstage segments? Back in the 90s and 00s you used to get candid segments in the locker room, the car park, catering, the manager's office, etc, just the wrestlers getting up to wacky shit. TNA still did this into the 2010s. Nowadays all you get are interviews in the immediate backstage area or in front of a screen. It seems strange that the more they describe themselves as "sports entertainment" and distance themselves from "wrestling", the more they double down on sports-style presentation at the expense of entertainment.
