Cody was about building a movement and a true rival to WWE, which began with the revolutionary event ALL IN; It became ratified with AEW. Unfortunately, Cody became disillusioned with when it became clear that AEW was to become nothing more than Tiny's Toybox. The Bucks don't care because like Phil said, they can do their cringey, LARP clown show, that would not draw money in the real world, and be paid big money nothwithstanding.
Cody and Phil had bigger hopes for AEW. Tiny and The ELITE do not.
