>[Stardom] S. Kid warns organization that has lost a female professional grand prize winner: "Everyone should feel impatience and regret"
>Starlight Kid, known as the "Greedy Black Tiger" of the women's professional wrestling organization Stardom, has sounded the alarm within the organization.
>The recently announced "Tokyo Sports Newspaper 2024 Pro Wrestling Awards supported by Nitan Clinic" Women's Pro Wrestling Grand Prize has been awarded to freelancer Sareee. The stronghold of Stardom, which has monopolized the award for five consecutive years since Mayu Iwatani in 2019, has collapsed.
>Kid responded, "The fact that Stardom has continued to hold that title for so long has been a weapon, and I think it has proven that they are the best as an organization. Having that record come to an end is a disappointing result for the number one organization in women's professional wrestling."
>This year, Maika, Natsuko Tora, and Tam Nakano were crowned as Stardom World Champions. The Wonder Champion changed hands between Saori Anou, Mika Iwata (Sendai Girls), Anou, and Natsupoi. The only one to hold the belt throughout the year was IWGP Women's Champion Mayu Iwatani, and the era of rivalry between many powerful men has arrived.
>While the ring, with its equal talent, creates enthusiasm, it also has a downside. Kidd points out, "When asked who was active or outstanding in Stardom this year, to be honest, I can't think of anyone in particular. I think that the people who have won the (Professional Women's Award) up until now have been players that everyone could imagine as 'this person.' To be honest, I didn't have anyone who I thought was the right fit, so I think that's why it turned out like this."
