Meltzer was also saying that the NXT cuts are going to be more common, around 90 days now.
Io Shirai has still hasn't been called up. Albeit she is believed to be injured since her last match in April during Wrestlemania weekend (Which we only know due to social media pics).
But the thing is this new version of NXT has a supposed policy of no more wrestlers over 30, and no more wrestlers staying in it for 4 years+ (Which Io has done).
Although she has survived yet another round of cuts, I'm not sure how long she'll be in WWE for. Just seems like there's no plans for her. And who knows how long her injury will keep her out (Again, we have no idea what it is other then it's her leg, from hitting it on the announce table doing a moonsault).
But what would happen if Io gets released? It's known that she wants to become a star in America because she already accomplished everything she could in STARDOM, she was like Triple H there.
So I think if she does get released I think she'll more likely go to AEW then STARDOM to continue her quest for stardom in America. I can see her still making a few occasional appearances for STARDOM.
But what I'm trying to say is that I think KAIRI would appear for AEW only if someone she really trusts like Io is there.
