Is this really sustainable form a product presentation point of view? Has this ever been done before?
TK is gonna have to do some WWE during failed babyface Roman era sound level tweaking to conceal the boos every week. You can tell they've already done it twice, first when Chicago was announced as the first Collision location because every knew what that meant, and second when Punk's personal return was officially confirmed.
But it's easer to do during a backstage segment because the crowd noise is already muffled and low in the mix and can sneakily be reduced even further.
In the arena proper, when the cameras and mics are all focused on what's 'on-stage' it's gonna be a bitch to conceal. There's nowhere to hide.
inb4 "Just turn him heel, problem solved!"
Turning him heel is a tacit admission that he was in the wrong at Brawl Out, the press conference, and everything preceding it. Punk's ego won't allow it. He's probably got it in his contract anyway that he is to be presented as a good guy and the top guy and mareted as the FOTC. So that ain't happening.
