Backstage promos most of the time are "I did my best and win" or "I lost but I will win next time" the best you can get is on press conferences but they don't give enough time to build angles sometimes they get in a fight and that's the "blood feud".
Hatman was experimenting making some angles in showcase but he's not a storyteller and shit went stale and/or cringe pretty fast.
Tam tries hard to add some story behind her main event matches but at some point even japanese fans started with the lore meme.
