>>12634995I'll put it like this: remember that Howard Stern prank call when they call into a wrestling show, and the one guy's listing off all these names of old school dudes? That's what the people I know do. We can shoot the shit about our memories of the past stars and moments, but they always tell me they've pretty much stopped watching, and they usually did not that long after WCW went under.I knew someone who literally stopped after the last Nitro. He never watched a single thing after it. As soon as Nitro ended, that was it for him. He didn't even watch the rest of Raw that night. I'd tell him he was lucky because he missed the invasion angle, and he'd say it's why he stopped watching. He knew they'd fuck it up. Hell, growing up, I had a barber who went to WMIII, got a front row seat to boot, and he told me he stopped watching when the New Gen took off. Me? I stopped watching a couple or so years after the invasion. The latest I've ever heard anyone watching was a bit into the early Cena wins era. I know nobody who has watched past that.
