NJPW has zero stars right now. AEW left a lot of their stars at home (Mox, Darby, Cope, Okada, Jay, Shibata in a surprise 5 min exhibition, etc). CMLL didn't have a big match, with no Mistico on the show. The only match that had any build was Kenny vs Gabe.
Given all those factors, 16000 is pretty good. That's gotta be near the baseline for hardcore fans that want good wrestling. Very few casuals were turning up for this.
