>>16158525>>16161976Part of AEW's problem is that it's not a real business that has to make a profit. Tony is paying most of his roster to stay home at this point. CM Punk hinted at this. Since they don't have to make money they don't have to cater to as wide as possible of a fanbase. Their product, IN MY OPINION, is very hit or miss. Some of the shit they do is great, some it sucks. But as long Tony Khan is okay with using it as a personal fantasy fed things will never get better. In fact it will stagnate and get worse like it's done over the past 20 months. Fans like me who've been watching it from day one are losing interest. Contrary to what Tony thinks, most fans would rather see guys like Wardlow and Hobbs over random Mexican midgets.

WWE used to get flak from Meltzer for never announcing matches before their shows. But now it seems like both promotions have changed in this respect. It really drives home the idea that Tony is booking his shows week to week with no idea what is gonna happen next.
