Well, to put it simple: You don't get over by trying to get over, I mean: You don't get over by trying to make people like you, this is a surefire way to make most people feel awkward because you'll come off as a needy person.
What you need to do is to find your deepest passion and stick to it, once you focus so much on that passion then people will naturally become attracted to you.
But how do you find that passion if you don't know it already? It takes time but if you put in the work then you WILL find it:
1) Abandon all distractions from your life, tv, music, everything which acts as a distraction, don't use the quitting of those distractions as an main object of your character because that also is a distraction.
2) Start putting habits in your life which you think are what are truthful to yourself, do them daily, leave all the bad habits behind.
3) Meditate, sit for at least half an hour per day in total dark with a straight back (with no back support) and deliberately direct all the focus of your awareness on your breath, watch it get deeper and calmer as you do so, don't force changing it - it will do on it's own as long as you give it attention. Don't conceptualize what you're doing and don't judge your progress - there is no progress, there is only the here and the now of your awareness being placed attentively on your breath.
4) Start journaling, write your deepest fears, stories e.t.c. on it and analyze them while being alone, never talk to anyone about this journal.
5) Exercise, cardio is a must, also do some kind of mobility training like yoga, pilates e.t.c. and if you have time add some resistance training too.
After some months you will start getting deeper into yourself, you will see clearly who you are and what you want to do in this world, once you find it out ACT on it and embark on your adventure.
Be well my friend.
