>"Actually, during my time in high school, Kobashi-san came for a TV interview. Back then, I had zero connection to pro wrestling—I just thought, 'Wow, an amazing alumnus is here.' But when I decided to become a wrestler and learned more about him, I was stunned: 'I can’t believe such a legendary pro wrestler went to my school!'"
>At the time, Ashida wasn’t involved in school clubs but was deeply immersed in cheer dance as an extracurricular activity. She reached such a high level that she competed in world championships and, as a third-year middle schooler, became a finalist in Miss Teen Japan 2013 while signed to a prominent talent agency.
>"It all started when I tried an aerobics class. The instructor suggested cheer dance might be fun, so I ended up entering a competition. I loved it so much that before I knew it, I switched from aerobics to cheer dance. Together with my teammates, we trained hard and eventually competed in national and even U.S. championships. As for entertainment work, my agency’s policy was 'prioritize your studies, focus on school, and stay in your hometown,' so I stayed in Fukuchiyama until high school and moved to Tokyo for university."
