>>19899591CMLL isn't desperate; they've been allied with AEW for almost three years and are still using the two-out-of-three falls format. Just last week they only offered one-fall matches, and that was because the luchadores who were going to Japan had to leave early and without too much exertion.
CMLL has been allied with AEW for almost three years, and absolutely nothing has changed except when AEW wrestlers come in as challengers and the matches are single-fall. This is because AEW wrestlers also go to CMLL to adapt to the CMLL style. That's what a cooperative partnership or alliance is all about. As long as Jose Luis Feliciano is in charge, nothing will change. Just look at him, does he seem like someone who wants to modernize or someone who intends to lose his job to please some fat foreign pig? CMLL has had long-standing alliances with NJPW, ROH, and other companies, and nothing ever changed. And if AEW hasn't changed anything in three years, then you're just talking nonsense and caricaturing CMLL as if it's desperately begging for help when the reality is it doesn't need it because, proportionally, it sells more tickets than WWE.
