What I hate is that it's become almost exclusively "sport" while the soapy, campy, mean girl shit associated with wrestling has gone away. I'm not even talking about full blown coomer shit. There's no hot bitch valets that you're begging to see get what's coming to them. You can't hit them or humiliate them. Romance/Seductions angles are almost nonexistent. Fewer and fewer girls have anything resembling a personality let alone a gimmick. This is not MMA, you need character in pro-wrestling. You need stories regardless of how contrived they can be sometimes. People are willing to accept "Wrestling School" level competence if they have something to be invested in.
The closest we ever came to it (even if the wrestling wasn't there) were the first couple of years of the brand split when you had all the chicks that knew how to work on Raw with a couple of hotties and the rest of the models on Smackdown.
