Thought I'd share an exclusive tidbit for you guys as a thank you for the ideas you gave me. I was the one who pitched the idea of Max Moon to Vince, basing the gimmick on my own time working on the Apollo space missions. Vince loved the idea but said that I couldn't play him since "nobody would believe an Indian could go to space" and gave the gimmick to my friend Konnan. I don't there was any Cuban or Puerto Rican cosmonauts either but I wasn't one to question the boss.
In all honesty, it might have been a blessing since Vince altered the gimmick into something that people still mock to this day but I'm glad Konnan was able to bounce back and have a great career.
