NJPW was in serious financial danger during the pandemic and legit came very close to bankruptcy. I wouldn't be shocked if Tony just said "Whatever we make off this PPV and ticket sales, you guys can keep all of it". This is a man who outright purchased ROH out of love for Pro Wrestling.
