Lesnar is the only guy who comes close to being an all-time great with a legitimate shoot fighting background
Also, he was just a college wrestler which on its own you can't really call "shoot fighting" because it's an athletic contest with a point system and a lot of technical rules. He didn't even get his "Shoot fighting" background until he was already halfway finished with his pro wrestling career
