But now, our sole tag team match of the event, and one that has been in the cards for a long time now.
The Immaculate Connection recently made their tag team debut in the Tag Team Tussle at Onsen A Lifetime, but this match will be their first official teaming under regulation two-versus-two rules. Amy Flame, a former WWA Dojo standout, has gone on to great things under the tutelage of the now WWA Champion Priscilla Divine, including taking the former champion to her limit and in many fans’ view being screwed out of the victory. Colby Jefferson, meanwhile, is a relative newcomer to the WWA, but already boasts a victory over a former tag team champion in her own right.
Their opponents tonight, are Sola and -- wait, this sheet doesn’t say who her partner is? I guess we‘ll just have to find out. Sola Fire has had a tough time of late, but perhaps a return to action will do her some good. We last saw Fire in competition against her friend Little Beaver, before the \*shocking\* return of Lightning Nika. Rumours say that Sola originally requested a singles match with Amy Flame, but something changed and a tag match was called for sometime before Onsen.
Why this match is only happening now, and what reason Colby has to be so angry with Sola remains to be seen, but the moment is now, and it’s time for tag team action!
