He's IC tier. And only an average one at that.
>Legends such as Steve Austin, Jake Roberts, Booker T amongst others believe he is the greatest in-ring talent of this generation
They say that same line about anyone to seem relevant. I'm sure I can find a quote of them saying the same about about MJF. It means nothing.
>headlined some of the greatest shows from the past decade
None of them in the US, where Kenny continues to fail to get over as his peculiar delivery in his promos miss their mark again and again.
>All the creative control in the world
That's not a good thing.
>Absolutely refuses to put himself over
Thank God. No one wants to see him wrestle a 10 year old girl, or a blow up doll. Save those moments for Japan.
>Management has to drag him kicking and screaming to make him stop his goofy midcard shit
Even then, they fail. He's a complete fool. Cosplay, Japanese shit, girls dancing with brooms. Did this guy forget he's trying to get over with an American crowd?
>Won't go to WWE despite knowing damn well Paul would give him a WM main event with Roman and match with AJ
Who gives a shit. People point left and right at who's the most overrated talent in the business. For my money it's Kenny Omega, easily.
I cannot point to one memorable singles feud Kenny Omega has had in the US. Anytime I hear how great this guy is, it's when he was in Japan where he didn't have to hold a mic to get over. A few English words here and there and those Japanese girls went gajin crazy. Here in America though, shit ain't that easy. That's why he doesn't put himself over.
He knows he can't compete.
Tony paid him like he was the big dog but I ain't seen shit.
