>>8980308>what actually needs to be fixed?Tony needs to stop having any involvement whatsoever with AEW aside from signing the paychecks. He needs to hire a staff of talented writers who are used to juggling 100 characters at once and telling stories with compelling overarching narratives, the writing team can serve as the bookers so he doesn't need an independent booking team, storylines need to be prioritized and matches need to be de-emphasized, there needs to be no more cold matches unless they serve as a setup for something interesting, TV matches need to be approximately 5 minutes maximum unless there are special circumstances that truly justify a longer match(but under no condition should any TV match go over 15 minutes), matches need to be banned from running through commercial breaks and Picture in Picture needs to be abolished, the entire announce team needs to be replaced by people who can convincingly sell the matches, characters, and storylines, the current production crew needs to be fired and replaced by veteran production guys who have experience in filming and presenting real sports, and all the dead weight on the roster needs to be released(which is about 70% to 80% of the roster).
This is the recipe for saving AEW. But none of it will ever happen because Tony Khan.
