>>5640185Pretty much this. Danielson is by no means an embarassing failure but he's definitely being misused. Punk's run on the other hand has been miserable so far. Not just because it's impossible to take him seriously anymore but because he's a sloppy mess in the ring who can't go 30 seconds without getting gassed. Now that's embarassing. And he wasn't nearly this bad before his "retirement". He's still good on the mic of course but he comes across as completely inauthenthic. There was no good reason for him to remain a babyface after the the novelty period ended, and it has sure as fuck ended by now.
