Shogunanon here, I'd like to try and do some building myself starting today. Admittedly, things have slowed down since I've been in my last few weeks of school (and have a family member in the hospital who's coming home today) so I've been kinda busy, alongside a little shy of interacting with the DA directly (beyond the smidgen of Twitter shitposting I had Shogun do yesterday). I plan to change this before the PPV, so don't worry.
Hollyanon pretty much gave a much short-winded version of why I think Shogun should be in the match. I can accept Shogun's not really the most fascinating character yet, or a top tier talent (blame the AI lel), but she's been interacting with Holly literally since she debuted, so it makes me confused that she's suddenly "Skelly's C-Team weighting down main eventer Holly Hope-Again" and not "Holly's friend/'rival' who's happy to help her" now that the Stellar Stars exists. I don't necessarily see why Holly should have the best of the best helping her either, when Holly is adamantly against having any actual friendships, and especially wouldn't stoop to bootlicking (with the exception of Kelly) to get help. She is, quite literally, taking what she can get. (And as Hollyanon mentioned, potential key players are also either shoot busy with life or work busy with other things in the card)
