I just want to take this time to appreciate the greateness that is Roman Reigns, The Tribal Chief whose greatness these past 3 1/2 years was on a whole different level.
He came back and led us through tough times during the Pandemic, a time of uncertainty and unfamiliar territory unlike anything the industry had ever faced and he gave us the most compelling stories and character weekly, carrying the burden of the world, putting it on his back and trudged on through, traversing the rocky path ahead and back into arenas full of screaming passionate fans again.
Then, along came the records. He continuously set new record profits for the company and broke down barriers never set before, shattered title reign records, secured new tv deals, secured the peacock deal, and now securing the Netflix deal, went on to main event 5 straight Wrestlemania main events during this run, including on back to back nights. He also ushered in a new Golden Age Era not seen since the Attitude Era, continuous sold out crowds weekly as well as huge stadium shows breaking all time gate records. Most importantly there are more normie engagements than ever before on the product. Last but not least, the entire Bloodline saga. From Sami to the Usos to Cody finishing the story, it has produced wrestling's greatest Cinema, culminating with giving us the greatest series finale to pro wrestling of all time. When all is said and done, this reign has solidified Roman Reigns as an all timer, the GOAT in the annals of pro wrestling that can never be taken away from him.
Now throw your Ones in the air and acknowledge The Tribal Chief, pro wrestling's most successful box office draw of all time.
