[9.0] "A lot of people in Tam Nakano's shoes would likely opt for for an easy life. She could have coasted through her 20s and 30s on her looks alone. Instead, Tam endured one of the most violent feuds in modern wrestling history versus Giulia. I'll be rating the winner of Tokyo Sports' Women's Wrestling Grand Prize in three categories: look, promo, and in-ring ability. Beginning with look, Tam is clearly comfortable with her character and appearance. She touts awesome ring gear and her signature purple hair makes her easy to distinguish in Stardom's deep roster. It's pretty easy to see that she started her professional career as an idol. Moving on to promo, Tam pours emotion into her promos and is capable of carrying on long-term feuds, as evidenced in one of Stardom's most iconic feuds that pitted the leader of the Cosmic Angels against Giulia. In terms of in-ring skill, Tam has an excellent understanding of match psychology and pacing. She doesn't perform moves for the sake of performing moves. She can mat wrestle as well as land solid strikes. She'll also bust out moves that will take you completely by surprise, like her Violet Screwdriver (Steiner Screwdriver). She's excellent in tag matches especially alongside fellow stablemate Natsupoi. Tam is an excellent example of Japanese wrestling psychology, especially the "struggle through competition" aspect. Even in defeat - and she loses more than she wins despite being a top draw - it's easy to root for the Top Kawaii of the Cosmos."
