>>9345329>>9346415I got intrigued by TJPW mostly because I watched good amounts of joshi and this was just another goofy group to watch, but then legitimately interesting things like the NEO-Bii/Azusa story, Reika's superstar energy despite how small she was, early Maki Ito who was still garbage as a wrestler but could make up for it, and Maho who was so unique compared to everyone else in TJPW and honestly joshi as well that it made her an interesting figure, even if it's just a girl pretending to be a zombie.
Then there was stuff that kept me in for a while like the Itoh/Natsumi feud and the Misao story (early on), but eventually they lost me cuz there's none of that unique energy anymore. It's just another cutesy idol promotion except Yuka is trying to cosplay as Jumbo Tsuruta at 5'0 and there's really no time to follow that and pretend to interested. They have no unique hook.
At least it's not as bad as Actwres Girlz, so it's a very sporadic watch when specific people are wrestling.
