I imagine filming 4-8 episodes worth of DARK is more of a production cost thing, and at one point was allowing them time to set up good storylines and rivalries before TK got overwhelmed with his roster size. At least Daily's Place had multiple kino hard camera angles, Universal is just all trash from the crowds to the filming to the production to just filler nothing matches. The only thing that's gotten better is the commentary, this soundstage era really kicked off the Taz and Excalibur podcast arc.
