Being born black, or Irish, or a jew, or English, or German, for example, is meaningless. It's an accident of birth. To be proud of an accident of birth, something in which you had no personal input, is fucking retarded if you really think about it.
Be proud of your actual accomplishments. Be proud of graduating from high school, or achieving a degree, or achieving things in your career, or personal life. Being proud of being white, or being Irish, is just as cringe as black people being proud of being black.
All you're doing is setting an incredibly low bar for yourself when you do this.
