"Holy cow, Anita, Omega took that spin-kick to the face! Skelly makes the cover -- but it's just a two! I don't know about you but I think Omega looks rattled. She's not getting up!"
>Omega snaps awake, ready to continue the fight -- but there is music playing. Omega looks over and sees the referee hand Skelly the championship. She looks into the crowd and sees a tall, handsome man wearing a shirt adorned with her logo. She looks at his face -- and he is staring wide eyed at the still-champion. He isn't looking at Kelly Omega.
>Omega rolls out of the ring, her head aching and her ears ringing. A lump is forming on the side of her face, no doubt from the champion's boot. The crowd is cheering, staring at the undersized, underdog champion with pride and honour. Children scream, and at least one member of the audience is crying tears of joy. Nobody is looking at Kelly Omega.
>The slight incline of the ramp feels almost insurmountable. Confetti falls, and the champion's music blares. The adrenaline dump begins to fade, and Omega's feet feel heavier with every step. She dares one final glance back at the ring where she gave it her all, to the champion she goaded into hitting her hard enough to retain her title. Skelly Skelly, the WWA World Champion, is no longer looking at Kelly Omega.
>Omega walks, unseen, to the back.
