Someone whinging at the word Paki is just showing their brown fragility. It was normalised in British media in the past. Rita, Sue and Bob too (a film) had a guy in it say “I can’t ‘elp bein’ a Paki. East is East had people say Paki in it. They’re all fucking babies. I worked somewhere in the past where a girl was sacked for saying “I’ve never worked with a Paki before”. She meant it endearingly, as in she would learn about Pakistan and Islam and stuff. But no, she was sacked right there and then. Bonkers. They (the British people with parents from Pakistan) don’t like that the grooming gangs in England were predominantly men either from Pakistan or their parents were from Pakistan. So maybe it’s because Paki is associated with child rapists? Or from when we’d call corner shops paki-shops because most of them were owned by Pakistani or Bangladeshi Muslims? But that’s pretty weak. Indians give their kids British names when they’re born here, like James, John and William. Pakistanis give their kids Islamic names which I think is a failing of integration and shows their brown fragility. Pic related - it’s pronounced mouse-tah-fah
