I'm getting into wrestling after seeing some lately, and I want to go back and watch some of the highest rated matches. But that got me thinking, who is it that rates the matches anyway? There's surely some kind of committee made up of former wrestlers, announcers, managers - in other words, people that have actually been in the business - that come together to agree on whether a match is truly 5 stars, right? It would be hilarious if it was, I don't know, some old guy who has never been in the ring before who throws out these ratings and then everyone holds that as the objective measure for how good a match is! But that's silly, i'm sure that isn't how an entire industry works. Like imagine if instead of food critics, a good restaurant was decided by one guy from New York who doesn't even cook. Ridiculous!
