The only criticism I have of the actual gameplay is that there is a dedicated punch and kick buttons which carries over to the grapples. So in this promotion built around guys doing the "cool" moves 2/3rds of everyone's grapples are the same knee strikes and elbows as everyone else.
Also all the animations are really ugly, they could have easily taken the time spent on minigames to fix the majority of moves and the jerky movement animations.
And of course as everyone knows the game just lacks content outside of the story mode which is 90% the bucks challenging you to minigames.
