>>10186480>Your phone?Shogun checks it. Fortunately, it's in one piece.
Opening it up, she scrolls to the top. Amy Flame. OF COURSE it's Amy Flame. To her surprise, it wasn't Amy antagonizing Keron, at least; it seemed like the kind of thing someone stooping to dangerous lows every day would do. No, Keron simply tried to set the record straight in a peaceful way: even still, she felt her blood pressure spike.
>(Yes, we almost got into a fight because YOU tried to hit me with a bat in the middle of a restaurant! Whatever...)Yet again, Amy seems to believe that the entire ring revolves around her. Where was SHE doing when Shogun and Onigiri got robbed? In bed with Nikki Kade, that's where. And speaking of Nikki Kade, why did Amy continue to stare into the blinding sun that was Nikki Kade knowing full well she would lose her retinas? Was love and sex really worth her dignity? Her pride? Her morals?
Her friend?
It still comes flooding back. Even with the hatchet buried, Shogun pictures the sneer in Nikki Kade's face hurting Holly. The manic look in Amy's eye when questioned on her illogical worldview. Combined, she then pictured the boredom in Amy's eyes as she dismissed Keron with a few words, Nikki most likely curling around her somewhere as they giggled together.
She saw red. She attempted to send a text on Keron's behalf--only to find the number blocked.
It took everything in her not to throw Keron's phone back in the wall, but instead, she locked it and placed it on the floor.
Without a word, she started taking Keron's collectibles out of her bag, placing them back on the floor.
>It's not your fault, Keron-san.>Amy Flame is an idiot. And I'm sorry to say that about an old friend, but...no. Actually, I'm not!>She's an idiot!>I asked her outright what you and Skelly did wrong and she had NO ANSWER. She doesn't even know!>You weren't a bad friend. Amy was. She let herself get tricked. Let Nikki Kade worm her way into her head.>You did everything you could...
