>>9892433>So you're telling me the jogger found her, but no medical personnel actually came by to do...anything?>Of course. Of course not.>*sigh* I can handle it.-------------
Shogun, seeing her sleeping form, stares for a few moments...and feels relief seeing the girl's chest heave from her breaths. She enters the small dirt patch, lightly placing her hand on her face.
>Beaver-san?Shogun slowly nudges her head, resulting in quiet groaning as the Native American's eyes open. Her expression is stuck in the same wincing frown, though, her body still aching from the torment of the Divine Angels. As she stirs, processing the situation, she immediately begins to push back against Shogun.
"Ghh! Angel back for more?!"
It takes one second to realize:
"...oh. You oriental girl from Rookie Cup."
>Indeed. "Shogun Aina.">You look like you could use some help."Beaver just resting."
>Well, I'd be glad to give you somewhere a little more comfortable!"No, Beaver mean that literally. She JUST resting. Beaver want to leave now."
>First things first, just so you're feeling a little better on the way back...Shogun pulls out a bottle of water. Beaver rushes to grab it, staring at in awe.
>Firewater?! ...oh, just normal water. This okay too.She takes a swig...okay, no she doesn't, she's chugging the thing. In the meantime, Shogun finds the need to explain:
>I'm sorry that you've just been laying here. If I can offer a theory, the Divine Angels kept any emergency services busy. Really, a lot of the Spaghetti Town services for the public are useless...She finishes, casting the bottle aside. "No need for sorry. Beaver used to ground. Grateful to be out of mansion."
A pause.
"While going through that ordeal...Beaver wonder something. Why? Beaver show kindness to other rookies. To Say-Ann girl. To Nika. Then she get beaten and left here. She not understand. Maybe she upset spirits?"
>Did you find an answer?"No. Beaver only pawn in game of life."
