Hogan and Rock wanted to fight because they both thought they were the best and their egos clashed. They cut good promos. It was fun. And it worked because they were arguably the two biggest names in the business at the time. Now you get irrelevant 5'6" indie midgets fighting to prove they're "the best" when the aren't even the best wrestlers in their own company and they're just goddamn midcarders. It's so stupid and boring.
