Rumble 2005 was the first I saw (as a 11 year old) but I was in Australia so it took us finally getting Foxtel and convincing my mum and dad to order it as satellite dishes were new where I lived. They kept asking me if I wanted to watch other stuff, but I only really cared about the Rumble enough to pay to watch it live, so I said no thanks. They ordered the 2006 and 2007 Rumbles without me even asking, and then the Benoit shit happened, which fucked with 13 year old me. Mum bought me a whole bunch of DVD’s of old PPV’s from 2005-2006 when they were on sale, and was confused when I wasn’t happy about it. Those DVD’s got me back into it about a year later, and as soon as I said I was back into it, they got me a whole bunch of DVD’s from 2007-early 2008, and the WWE Encyclopedia. Honestly without those DVD’s, I don’t know if I’d have been a wrestling fan for another year, let alone shitposting about it 15 years later. I’m so grateful for my parents.
